๐Ÿ“˜ Instructions for Use / Wiring Guide

This module includes two typical wiring configurations using the two white output wires. Both configurations are based on the same principle: the module controls the switching of a 12V load through an internal relay.

โš™๏ธ General Wiring Overview

  • Red wire: +12V constant supply (must be connected through a 1A fuse)
  • Black wire: Ground (12Vโ€“)
  • Orange wire: Activation input (12V+ from ignition or control switch)
  • White wires: Relay output contacts (COM / NO / NC depending on application)

๐Ÿ”‹ Connection Option 1: Direct Battery + Lamp Load Control

This configuration is used for direct control of a standalone 12V load (lamp, LED light, auxiliary lighting).

  • One white wire is connected to +12V battery supply
  • The second white wire is connected to the positive terminal of the load (lamp)
  • The negative side of the load is connected directly to battery ground

When the relay activates, it completes the circuit and powers the lamp directly from the battery.

Application:
Standalone lighting systems, auxiliary lamps, custom automotive lighting installations.

๐Ÿ”Œ Connection Option 2: Vehicle Headlight Switch Control

In this configuration, the module is integrated into the vehicleโ€™s existing headlight switch circuit.

  • One of the white wires is connected to the headlight switch circuit (control side)
  • The second white wire is connected in parallel to complete the switching path

When the module activates the relay, it simulates or supports the headlight switch signal, allowing controlled delay ON/OFF operation of the front lights.

Application:
Automotive lighting delay, follow-me-home function, controlled headlight activation.

โš ๏ธ Important Notes

  • Always install a 1A fuse on the red power line
  • Ensure correct polarity before powering the module
  • Do not exceed the rated relay load (20A)
  • For higher loads, an external power relay must be used
  • Double-check wiring before initial activation

๐Ÿ”„ Operating Principle

The module controls the relay based on ignition or control input. Depending on the configured Delay ON and Delay OFF settings, it either activates or deactivates the output circuit after the programmed time interval.
