Instruction for Use
1. Purpose of the module
This module is used to convert a 12V pulse signal into a controlled 12V DC output with an adjustable delay function.
It keeps the output active while the input signal is present and continues to power the output for a short adjustable period (1–10 seconds) after the signal is removed.
If the input signal returns during this delay period, the module continues operation without interruption.
2. When to use it
Use this module when you need:
- Conversion of intermittent pulse signals into a stable output
- Delay control for automotive electrical systems
- Control of sequential lighting systems
- Signal stabilization for 12V devices
- Temporary hold function after signal loss
3. Wiring overview
Power supply
- Red wire → Connect to +12V constant power supply
- Black wire → Connect to vehicle ground (–12V)
Input signal (IMPORTANT)
You must use ONLY ONE input type:
- Orange wire → Connect to +12V pulse signal
- Brown wire → Connect to –12V pulse signal
⚠️ Do not connect both input wires at the same time.
Output
- White wire → +12V DC output
- Blue wire → Ground output (–12V)
4. How to install
- Disconnect power before installation
- Connect power wires (red and black)
- Choose and connect only one input signal wire (orange OR brown)
- Connect output wires to the load (device, lamp, system)
- Secure all connections properly
- Reconnect power
5. How it works
- When a signal is detected, the module activates immediately
- The output remains ON while the signal is present
- When the signal stops, the module keeps the output ON for a preset time (1–10 seconds)
- If the signal returns during this time, the module continues normally
- If not, the output turns OFF after the delay expires
6. Time adjustment
The delay time is adjusted using the onboard potentiometer:
- Turn clockwise → decreases delay time
- Turn counterclockwise → increases delay time
- Adjustment range: 1–10 seconds
7. Important safety notes
- Use only with 12V DC systems
- Do not exceed electrical limits of connected devices
- Incorrect wiring may damage the module
- Always insulate connections properly
- Use proper fusing in automotive installations
